2021 Single Vineyard Roussanne
$45 per bottle $486 per dozen
110 dozen available 12.6% alc

With a fervent relationship with Roussanne since 2011, Michael and Susan have been pushing boundaries on this varietal that they believe suits the Barossa Valley climate and rich earth soils.
Predominately making red wines in the early years of their winemaking, white wine has taken precedence and excitement over the past few years. Just releasing their third range of Roussanne has been a work in progress for many vintages and now showsRoussanne in three distinctive styles.
The Single Vineyard (previously known as Devote) is made in an elegant, refined style with great texture and good acidity.
The grapes are hand-picked, basket pressed and left to naturally ferment in oak. Bottled after eight months.
With an attractive deep gold colour, the 2021 Single Vineyard Roussanne offers a complex nose, with characteristics of stone fruit, lemon custard and yellow peach. The palate develops with elegance, with a rich powerful texture, opulence and with a beautiful acid balance to the finish.
Sub-region Greenock Barossa Valley vineyard lies around three hundred metres above sea level, on mixed loam over rich red clay.

2020 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
$45 per bottle $486 per dozen
50 dozen available 13.2% alc

Michael and Susan have made previous vintages from their home block of Cabernet Sauvignon in the past years under a different label, although Cabernet Sauvignon has never been a predominant varietal of Yelland & Papps wines, they inherited this vineyard when they purchased their property in 2010.
To celebrate the last two vintages of this vineyard the Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has its last hurrah and raises a glass to Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the exquisite, elegant varietal it is.
These grapes have now gone into the third and final label the Single Vineyard, previously Peyton’s Verjus and the BlackboardCabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes are hand-picked, naturally fermented in open fermenters, basket pressed and left to Elevage in oak for twenty months before bottling.
This Cabernet Sauvignon sits on the bright side of picking with freshness and varietal flavours.
