Wines - 2018 Second Take Shiraz
Deep dark bright red in colour.
On first glance you get a stunning aroma of herbaciousness, red fruits and sweet fresh raspberry.
The nose is pretty, seductive and has a lively freshness that is expressive.
The palate gives this soft, smooth and freshness all over, similar to cool climate, with soft silky and
subtle tannins, the herbaciousness comes though on the palate leaving you feeling like more.

Hand-picked, whole bunches wild-fermented, matured in French oak (15% new) for 10 months. Old world techniques say Yelland & Papps, but I think they are well and truly embodied in Australia as a primary option. This wine has delicious flavour and mouthfeel that can quickly mesmerise the unwary. Totally delicious.
